In the early 1960s, Farrel introduced the FCM Continuous Mixer. Two counter-rotating, non-intermeshing rotors and a large free volume mixing chamber are used in Continuous Mixing Technology. The wide mixing chamber provides for better material circulation and distribution mixing, while the specific rotor shape allows for effective shear and dispersive mixing.
