The Patterson Kelley Group (PK) specializes in a wide range of powder processing unit operations. Tumble blending, intensified and liquid/solids blending in batch and continuous modes are among the processing options available. Variations of the V blender, Twin Shell Dry Blender, Conical (such as the double cone), and common bin shapes are all examples of available vessel geometries. In addition, appropriate formulations can be processed in a single pot processor using wet granulation and drying. Originally a Benjamin F. Kelley & Company, Harsco Industrial Patterson-Kelley has evolved over the years, adapting to lead the marketplace. The company’s first product, feedwater heaters, introduced pioneering technology with tube bundles. After World War II, the company’s focus shifted from storage water heaters to more complicated, custom-engineered heat exchangers and other heat transfer products.
Following its 1974 acquisition by Harsco Corporation, Patterson-Kelley continued to lead the marketplace. In 1987, the company entered the gas-fired commercial boiler industry, and continued with new developments such as the NURO Touch Screen Control System and the NURO Connect App. This enables users to monitor and adjust their system settings from anywhere at anytime.
